「聖主」去明今日開顯，先以四味調熟來至法華。迹序四華六動先表四位六番，至流通中變土地裂表顯實相，實相通被故云「一切」。覩瑞聽法故云「見聞」。

From "the Sage Lord" onward, it clarifies the opening and revealing of the present day, first using the four flavors to season and mature them so that they arrive at the Lotus Sūtra. In the trace preface, the four flowers and six quakings first signify the four stages and six rounds [of breaking delusions]; when reaching the dissemination, the transforming of the lands and the splitting of the earth signify the revelation of the true mark. Because the true mark universally covers all, it says "all." Seeing the signs and hearing the Dharma, it therefore says "seeing and hearing."
