The one who falls away has the disposition to fall away, and so on, up to the one who progresses having the disposition to progress. Because there are five kinds of dispositions, there are five kinds of arhats; and together with one person who acts in accord with the Dharma, called unshakable, there are six kinds of arhats. If one falls away from the fruition, dragging along, the second and third fruitions are also lost, and one abides upon reaching the first fruition; this is naturally the principle.
