八明圓人，中二：先明總別，次明機緣。初又二：先總、次別。總中亦言「一念繫緣」等，當知二名二義同異永別。次「若歷」下別中言「十種境」者，陰入等十境也。蒙加益等可知。

Eighth, explaining the person of the Perfect [Teaching], which has two parts: first, explaining the general and specific; next, explaining the capacities and conditions. The first also has two: first, general; next, specific. In the general part, it also says “in a single thought binding the mind to conditions,” and so on; one should know that the two names and two meanings are forever different in their similarity and difference. Next, from “if proceeding through” onward, in the specific part, the phrase “ten kinds of objects” refers to the ten objects such as the aggregates and sense bases. Receiving empowering benefits and the like can be understood.
