次略歎中云「若智若機」等者，智謂大聖權謀，機謂不同次第，不擇時處，身口意密隨何四門無礙自在，適時稱會皆無虛設。

Next, in the brief praise, where it says 'whether wisdom or capacity' and so forth: wisdom refers to the Great Sage's expedient strategy; capacity refers to the differing gradations [of beings]. Without choosing time or place, the secrets of his body, speech, and mind are unhindered and sovereign in accord with any of the four gates; suiting the time and matching the occasion, none are deployed in vain.
