次總料簡五章者，前是料簡四章已竟。初問答可見。從「問經經」去復似料簡教相，教相秖是分別四章，四章若異教相亦異，故云「經經各異」。以教對四即是料簡五章故也。若經經各立則名義俱別，故云得別失同；今名同義別，故云「得同不失別」。

Next, regarding the general critical assessment of the five chapters: the critical assessment of the four chapters preceding was already completed. The initial question and answer are apparent. From "Question: Sūtra after sūtra..." onward, it seems once more to critically assess the characteristics of the teaching. The characteristics of the teaching merely distinguish the four chapters; if the four chapters differ, the characteristics of the teaching also differ; hence it says "differ in every sūtra." Matching the teaching with the four is precisely critically assessing the five chapters. If every sūtra were established separately, their names and meanings would both be different, hence it says one would grasp the differences and lose the sameness; now, the names are the same but the meanings are different, hence it says "grasps the sameness without losing the differences."
