Next, clarifying the three intents, in which are two parts: first, establishing; next, explaining. In the first text, saying "immeasurable," etc., means that the reciprocal connection has already formed the conditions for adapting to capacities, within which each responds to conditions according to feelings, etc., and taking up and discarding rests with the ground; hence it says "appearing and disappearing to benefit beings." In the next [part of] explaining, there are two: first, explaining entering the ultimate; next, explaining illuminating the conventional. In the first part on entering the ultimate, saying "If in following wisdom one realizes, the conventional transforms in accordance with wisdom," etc., means that if in following wisdom one realizes, the one conventional transforms in accordance with the three ultimates. Because by using this [view of] following wisdom one contemplates the conventional of illusory existence, it transforms in accordance with wisdom, and the realization of the ultimate differs; thus it forms the difference of the three kinds of two truths. All use the words "realized through wisdom" as the opening of the phrase, and the words "two truths" as the end of the phrase. From "The three people entering wisdom..." downward, it conversely explains that after realizing the ultimate in following wisdom, one again illuminates the previous conventional with the realizing wisdom; hence it causes the three conventionals to be mutually limited and different. If one accomplishes the biased ultimate, it is limited to illuminating the illusory conventional; if one accomplishes the not-empty ultimate, it is limited to illuminating the conventional of the Buddha-dharmas numerous as the sands of the Ganges; if one accomplishes the ultimate of the true mark, it is limited to illuminating the inconceivable conventional beyond the realms.
