次釋通名中又二：先釋，次「大經」下引《大經》意釋成。第三文者，無畏地中云「種種力用」者，明不思議用，如《止觀》第五記。釋不思議境中「不動而遠即其妙義」者，指別初地證法性理，名之為妙，乃成教行麁而證妙，義似開顯，非開權顯實之妙。

Next, in explaining the general name there are also two [parts]: first, explaining [it]; second, below "Great Sūtra", citing the intention of the *Great Sūtra* to explain and complete it. In the third text, concerning "various powers and functions" within the stage of fearlessness: this clarifies the inconceivable function, as in the notes to the fifth fascicle of the *Zhiguan*. In explaining the inconceivable realm, "unmoving yet distant is its wondrous meaning" points to the first bhūmi of the Separate [Teaching] realizing the principle of dharma-nature, naming it wondrous; thus it constitutes the teaching and practice being crude while the realization is wondrous, an idea resembling opening and revealing, but not the wonder of opening the provisional and revealing the real.
