觀心者，正觀心性，中道不動如城防敵，不動而動如水淨諸邊顛倒，雙照枯榮如林蓊欝，三法相資即是連枝兄弟也。

As for contemplation of mind: correctly contemplating the nature of the mind, the Middle Way is immovable, like a city repelling enemies; being immovable yet moving, like water purifying all extreme inversions; illumination both of the withered and flourishing, like a luxuriant grove; the three dharmas mutually aiding each other are precisely the brothers sharing the same branch.
