本迹者，住於三德，林即般若、城即法身、水即解脫，是為祕密本藏；而迹依林城水以度眾生也。

As for origin and traces: abiding in the three virtues, the grove is prajñā, the city is the Dharma-body, and the water is liberation; this is the secret original treasury; and in traces they rely on the grove, city, and water to save sentient beings.
