1.88

本迹釋者，本與實相理和，又與法界眾生機緣和，而迹為半字事理之僧，歷五味中引諸眾生（云云）。

Regarding the explanation through origin and traces: in their origin, they were harmonious with the principle of the true mark, and furthermore harmonious with the capacities and conditions of sentient beings in the dharma realm; yet in their traces, they served as a saṃgha of phenomenal and principled harmony of the half-word teachings, passing through the five flavors to lead all sentient beings (and so on).
