本已有善，釋迦以小而將護之；本未有善，不輕以大而強毒之（云云）。
Where there was already original goodness, Śākyamuni nurtured and protected it with the small; where there was not yet original goodness, Not Disparaging forcefully poisoned them with the great (and so forth).
