10.70

偈有十六行，初四行，頌十神力；次十二行，頌結要；「囑累」下二行，「是人之功德」總頌四法。「能持則為已見我」下，第二，八行半，別頌四法。初一偈半，頌一切法，持法即持佛身（云云）。「令我及分身」兩偈，頌神力，神力勸佛令歡喜。「諸佛坐道場」一偈，頌祕要，可解。「於諸法之義」四偈，頌甚深之事。說法破闇入一乘，是佛甚深之事也。後一偈半，總頌結也。

The verse has sixteen quatrains. The first four quatrains versify the ten supernatural powers; the next twelve quatrains versify the essential summary. The two quatrains from "entrustment" downward, "the merit of such a person," generally versify the four dharmas. From "being able to uphold [this sūtra] is having already seen me" downward is the second [section of] eight and a half quatrains, versifying the four dharmas individually. The first one and a half quatrains versify all dharmas; upholding the Dharma is upholding the Buddha's body (and so forth). The two quatrains "causing me and the emanations" versify supernatural powers; supernatural powers exhort the Buddha and cause him to rejoice. The one quatrain "the Buddhas sitting in the seat of awakening" versifies the secret essential, which is understandable. The four quatrains "regarding the meaning of all dharmas" versify the profound matters; preaching the Dharma, destroying darkness, and entering the One Vehicle are the Buddha's profound matters. The final one and a half quatrains generally versify the conclusion.
