約教者，析法道諦障四住，三藏意也；體法道諦障四住，通教也；次第三智障五住，別教也；一心三智障五住，圓教也。

In terms of the teachings: the Truth of the Path of analyzing phenomena obstructs the four abodes of defilement—this is the meaning of the Tripiṭaka [teaching]. The Truth of the Path of embodying phenomena obstructs the four abodes—this is the shared teaching. The three wisdoms in sequence obstruct the five abodes—this is the distinctive teaching. The three wisdoms in one mind obstruct the five abodes—this is the perfect teaching.
