Within contemplation of mind, awakening is simply wisdom, judged according to the six stages of identity. In editions that lack “and so on”, there may be an omission. One should first distinguish [the sequence from] the Tripiṭaka and shared [teachings] up to the distinct and perfect teachings, and only then can one speak of the one-sided and perfect two awakenings; however, within the gradual sequence one may also encompass the two buddhas of the Tripiṭaka and shared teachings, or omit them. If viewed in relation to the preceding three objects and wisdoms, they are the buddhas of causes and conditions. The four contemplations of the Tripiṭaka and the rest are the buddhas of the four teachings. The middle viewed in relation to emptiness and the provisional is the buddha of origin and traces. One's own mind is itself the buddha of contemplation of mind.
