「齊中興印」者，中興，寺名（具如別傳）。玄暢以迹門流通中〈達多〉、〈持品〉，及將本門〈壽量〉後流通中〈神力〉等，共為果分，果在本門。又分護持，護持即是流通異名，故不可也。

Regarding “Yin of Zhongxing in the Qi”: Zhongxing is the name of a monastery (the details are as in his separate biography). Xuanbing took the Devadatta and Upholding chapters in the transmission section of the trace gate, together with chapters such as Supernatural Powers in the transmission section following the Life Span of the origin gate, as jointly constituting the fruition portion, with fruition residing in the origin gate. Furthermore, he divided out “protecting and upholding”; since “protecting and upholding” is merely an alternative name for transmission, this is inadmissible.
