次釋四意所以中初問意者，若略但一廣應無量，既非廣略二途不成。匪者非也。何故唯作此四釋耶？

Next, in explaining the rationale for the four perspectives, the initial intention of the question is: if it is brief it should be only one, and if extensive it should be immeasurable; since it is neither extensive nor brief, neither of the two paths is established. “Fei” means not. Why is this interpretation made using only these four?
