余省躬揣見自覺多慚，迫以眾緣彊復疏出，縱有立破為樹圓乘，使同志者開佛知見，終無偏黨而順臆度，冀諸覽者悉鑑愚誠。一句染神咸資彼岸，思惟修習永用舟航，隨喜見聞恒為主伴，若取若捨經耳成緣，或順或違終因斯脫，願解脫之日依報正報常宣妙經，一剎一塵無非利物，唯願諸佛冥熏加被，一切菩薩密借威靈，在在未說皆為勸請，凡有說處親承供養，一句一偈增進菩提，一色一香永無退轉。

Examining myself and estimating my views, I feel much shame; pressed by multiple conditions, I have reluctantly produced this commentary. Even though there are establishments and refutations, they are to set up the perfect vehicle, so that those of like intent may open the buddha's knowledge and vision. In the end, there is no partiality or following of personal conjectures; I hope all who peruse it will see through to my foolish sincerity. May a single line imbuing the spirit contribute to the other shore; may contemplating, cultivating, and practicing it serve forever as a ferry and raft; may rejoicing in following, seeing, and hearing it always make them hosts and companions; whether adopting or rejecting, once it passes through their ears may it form a condition; whether conforming or opposing, may they ultimately attain liberation through this. I vow that on the day of liberation, both environmental reward and primary reward will constantly proclaim the wondrous sūtra, and that every kṣetra and every dust mote will without exception benefit living beings. I pray only that all buddhas will unseenly perfume and add their protection, and all bodhisattvas will secretly lend their awe-inspiring spiritual power; wherever it has not yet been spoken, may all be entreaties, and wherever it is spoken, may they personally receive and offer worship; may a single line and a single gāthā advance bodhi; may a single color and a single scent forever be non-retrogressive.
