第十明待時不待時者，初正釋中先大判，次「若就」下就三周及本委論待等。三周之中自論密者，如法說時密聞大車及大通事而得益者，即不待時，中周密聞準說可見。

Tenth, on clarifying waiting for the time and not waiting for the time: In the first correct explanation, he first makes a general determination. Next, from "If we take..." onward, he discusses in detail waiting and the like with respect to the three cycles [of preaching] and the origin. As for discussing what is esoteric within the three cycles, if during the preaching according to the Dharma one esoterically hears of the great carriage and the events of Mahābhijñājñānābhibhū and thereby attains benefit, that is not waiting for the time. In the middle cycle, hearing esoterically can be known by analogy with that preaching.
