Those of medium capacity were confused by the doctrinal exposition, so the empty analogy of the carriages was spoken; existence and non-existence are completely equal, and the wise have no such difficulty. Someone asked: 'Three carriages may allow getting on and off, but how can one city have exiting and entering?' Answer: The carriages also have no text saying there is getting off, and the city also never said there is exiting. Carriages being reproached as empty is synonymous with getting off; hearing that the city was conjured is synonymous with exiting. Both are established by meaning based on the analogy; both have already entered realization, and both must be opened. Since the great carriage and the treasure abode do not differ, what distinction is there in the wondrous principle of the two places?
