8.52

「今為汝等作大導師」，為合多諸人眾者，此以能將顯於所將。「說二涅槃」者下，此中三釋，具如前文約煩惱生死及智。初文約惑，次文約二乘是約智也，後文約生死。言「中道」下「云云」者，二死中間名為中道。當知亦可作空有二邊、共不共、真俗、權實、大小等說之。「如文」下「云云」者，令引文耳。

Regarding "I now act as a great guide for you," matching the multitude of people: this uses the one who can lead to reveal those who are led. From "Spoke of two nirvāṇas" below: there are three explanations here, fully as in the preceding text regarding afflictions, birth-and-death, and wisdom. The first text is in terms of delusion; the second text, being in terms of the two vehicles, is in terms of wisdom; the latter text is in terms of birth-and-death. Regarding "The middle way" below, "and so forth": the interval between the two births-and-deaths is named the middle way. One should know that it can also be explained as the two extremes of emptiness and existence, shared and unshared, ultimate and conventional, provisional and real, Mahāyāna and Hīnayāna, and so forth. Regarding "as in the text" below, "and so forth": this prompts the citation of the text.
