第七「多處不多處」者，七處八會與二處三會，雖多少不同，所說何別？豈多少異令佛慧殊？若以同一報土亦非多處，此中橫對四土處却成多，還以彼多對此寂光，多亦即一，彼此體一佛慧不殊。

Seventh, regarding "multiple places and not multiple places": seven places and eight assemblies versus two places and three assemblies, though differing in number, what difference is there in what was preached? How could differences in number make the buddha-wisdom distinct? If taken as the same single reward land, it is also not multiple places; here, horizontally matching the four lands, the places turn out to be multiple. Again matching that multiplicity against this quiescent light, the multiple is also identical with the one; both have one substance, and the buddha-wisdom is not different.
