Next, below “only the Buddha alone”, the sixth phrase is explained, which is the text from “in this manner” downward. Since it generally says “in this manner”, viewing all that was illuminated previously, it completely forms a single seeing; hence it repeatedly re-cites the preceding five real phrases to jointly reveal the characteristics of the two wisdoms of provisional and real. Therefore, the preceding real wisdom solely illuminates the real object, while here provisional wisdom is added to see the provisional in accordance with beings, illuminating that not seeing is seeing, and so forth, which is the non-duality of the two wisdoms; hence it says that, like sentient beings’ seeing, it manifests a body of the two kinds of death, according with the minds of others, and so on. The next passage re-cites the first phrase above, “in accordance with reality knowing and seeing the characteristics of the triple world”, and so forth: although he sees in accordance with reality, he also sees from where sentient beings see, because he possesses the five eyes. Below “in accordance with reality knowing and seeing”, it re-cites the preceding “there is no birth or death”, and so forth. Next, below “nor is there”, it re-cites the preceding “nor is there being in the world”, and so forth. Next, below “without reality”, it re-cites the preceding “neither real”, and so forth. Next, below “without the three times”, it re-cites the preceding “neither thus”, and so forth. Next, below “identical with”, it re-cites the preceding “not like the triple world”, and so forth. All take the Tathāgata’s clear seeing as provisional wisdom, explaining them one by one. Below “the Tathāgata”, it re-cites the text from “not like the triple world” downward. Although the Tathāgata himself sees in accordance with reality, the capacities of beings are different and what they see is distinct; therefore, the Buddha also sees in accordance with their kinds and manifests responses to them.
