有人言：正觀中道一切種智，沒前三智之名，正觀此理，初觀為開，如十住；次觀為示，如十行；次觀為悟，如十迴向；後觀為入，如十地也。故約一中道觀有四品，故有四位不同也。

Some say: correctly contemplating the middle way as knowledge of all aspects, setting aside the designations of the previous three wisdoms, correctly contemplating this principle—the initial contemplation is opening, like the ten abodes; the next contemplation is showing, like the ten practices; the next contemplation is awakening, like the ten dedications; the final contemplation is entering, like the ten grounds. Therefore, based on the one contemplation of the middle way, there are four grades, and thus there are four different stages.
