答：身子是權行人，為引發軫學小實行之人，故先對身子也。如《攝大乘論》云「身子化人既得授記，令未定入二乘正位者改小乘行，已入正位者令其練根學菩薩道」也。

Answer: Śāriputra is a practitioner of provisional manifestation, acting to guide the real practitioners who set out learning the Hinayāna from the start; therefore, [the Buddha] first addressed Śāriputra. As the Mahāyānasaṃgraha says: "When Śāriputra, a transformed person, receives prediction, it causes those who have not definitely entered the determined stage of the two vehicles to change their Hinayāna practice, and causes those who have already entered the determined stage to train their faculties and learn the bodhisattva path."
