次明六度通別者，通得為三乘人說六度。《大品．發趣品》云「阿羅漢、辟支佛、諸佛因六波羅蜜到彼岸」，《攝大乘論》云「凡夫二乘皆有六，但六不同菩薩」耳。

Next, explaining the common and distinct aspects of the six perfections: commonly, the six perfections may be expounded for practitioners of the three vehicles. The *Large Perfection of Wisdom Sūtra*, in the "Chapter on Setting Out," states: "Arhats, pratyekabuddhas, and all buddhas reach the other shore by means of the six pāramitās." The *Mahāyānasaṃgraha* states: "Ordinary beings and [practitioners of] the two vehicles all possess the six, but their six are not the same as those of bodhisattvas."
