答：《華嚴》中二乘人初不見，後承佛力故見。今此人天都無見義故移之，欲顯四淨義：一化主淨、二土淨、三教淨、四徒眾淨，不移人天者則眾不淨也。

Answer: In the *Avataṃsaka*, those of the two vehicles did not see at first, but later, relying on the Buddha's power, they saw. Here, these gods and humans have no occasion to see whatsoever, and are therefore displaced. It is intended to reveal the meaning of the four purities: first, purity of the transforming master; second, purity of the land; third, purity of the teaching; fourth, purity of the disciples. If the gods and humans were not displaced, the assembly would not be pure.
