6.50

Fifth: The sūtra clarifies that the three vehicles are skillful means, so one may speak of demanding the three. It also says, "Only this one matter is real; the remaining two are not true," and says, "In the world there are no two vehicles, only the one Buddha vehicle." Deducing from this, they demand only the two vehicles, not the Buddha vehicle.
