「勇施」者，大士了畢竟空，捨身命財不生怯弱，故云勇施也。

'Pradānaśūra' (Brave Giver): the great being comprehends ultimate emptiness; when giving away his body, life, and wealth, he gives rise to no cowardice; hence he is called Brave Giver.
