「摩那斯」者，此云慈心。《華嚴經》云「將欲降雨，先七日興雲待營作事竟，然後乃注雨」，即慈心證也。亦云悅意。

“Manasvin” translates here as “Benevolent Mind.” The Avataṃsaka Sūtra says: “When about to send down rain, it first raises clouds for seven days, waiting until human labor and farm work are finished, and only then pours down rain”; this is proof of his benevolent mind. It also translates as “Pleasing to the Mind.”
