「羅睺」者，此言覆障，又云吸氣。《正法念經》云「修羅有鬼有畜，羅睺是師子種」。《婆沙》云「《伽陀經》云，有鬼、有畜、有天」。
"Rāhu": here translated as "covering and obstructing", and also as "inhaling breath". The Saddharmasmṛtyupasthāna Sūtra says: "Among asuras there are ghosts and there are beasts; Rāhu is of the lion clan." The Vibhāṣā says: "The Gāthā Sūtra says that there are ghosts, beasts, and gods."
