12.94

以常念故三毒不起，及常念觀音，實相法身即生，如實觀故三毒滅也。又此即是念佛三昧，念佛三昧能遍治一切障故。又常念故，觀音現身為其說法令三毒不起。又常念故，觀音能轉前境，如淨居天變覆諸採女以為不淨。

Because through constant recollection the three poisons do not arise, and when constantly recollecting Avalokiteśvara, the dharmakāya of true reality is brought forth; because of observing in accordance with reality, the three poisons are extinguished. Moreover, this is precisely the samādhi of recollecting the Buddha, because the samādhi of recollecting the Buddha can universally remedy all obstacles. Furthermore, because of constant recollection, Avalokiteśvara manifests a body to preach the Dharma for them, causing the three poisons not to arise. Moreover, because of constant recollection, Avalokiteśvara can transform the external object before them, just as the Śuddhāvāsa devas transformed and made the court ladies appear impure.
