六行之中開為二別：初有四行正明起塔，次有二行釋疑。初為四：第一一行，正明起塔。次一行，序塔形量，縱廣者縱（音居松反）廣（居朗反）。次有一偈，明塔莊嚴。次有一偈，明供養塔。菩薩起塔凡有二義：一、供養舍利；二、利益眾生也。上三行明供養舍利。今一行明天龍供養，即利眾生也。

Among these six lines, they are divided into two distinct parts: First, four lines directly clarify erecting stūpas; next, two lines resolve doubts. The first has four parts: The first single line directly clarifies erecting stūpas. The next single line describes the dimensions of the stūpas; 'length and breadth' (zongguang) has zong (sound ju-song-fan) and guang (ju-lang-fan). The next single verse clarifies the adornment of the stūpas. The next single verse clarifies making offerings to the stūpas. A bodhisattva's erection of stūpas generally has two meanings: first, to make offerings to relics; second, to benefit sentient beings. The preceding three lines clarify making offerings to relics. This present single line clarifies the offerings made by gods and dragons, which is benefiting sentient beings.
