Next, regarding the resolution of doubts: Above, it clarified adorning the lands; if so, erecting stūpas would merely be for the sake of adorning the lands and not for making offerings to the dharmakāya. Therefore, it is now clarified that it is primarily for making offerings to the relics and venerating the dharmakāya, and the lands naturally become extraordinarily magnificent. 'Like the king of heavenly trees' is an explanation by parable. Flowers bloom originally to bear fruit, yet the tree is naturally adorned; erecting stūpas is originally to make offerings to the Buddha's body, yet the lands naturally become resplendent. Another explanation: The tree blooms with no intention to make people love and delight in it, yet people naturally love and delight in it; erecting stūpas has no intention to adorn the lands, yet the lands are naturally adorned. Another explanation: This parable directly explains the preceding single line of text, 'extraordinarily magnificent.' When the tree king blooms, it is majestic and lovely; when a land has stūpas, it is likewise extraordinarily magnificent.
