「演說正法」下，第三、辨教門。就文為二：初、明一乘教；次、辨三乘教。如上將彼顯此，《法華》之前有二種教；將古證今，《法華》之前亦有二教。

From "preached the correct Dharma" downward, the third part distinguishes the doctrinal teachings. In the text there are two parts: first, explaining the ekayāna teaching; next, distinguishing the triyāna teaching. As shown above by using the other to illuminate this, prior to the Lotus Sūtra there were two kinds of teaching; using antiquity to verify the present, prior to the Lotus Sūtra there were likewise two teachings.
