「吾從成佛已來」者，嘆權智也。前嘆權智凡有二義：一、如上釋諸佛從實起權，今從權起實。二者、遂文勢相接，上略明權智辨難解難入，故今廣釋權智明難解難入之意也。「吾從成佛已來」者，此言成道，凡有二義：一者、王宮現生伽耶成道，從此已來施方便。二者、依下經文，明久已成佛，從此已來施於方便，此明用權智之時節也。

"Ever since I attained Buddhahood" praises provisional wisdom. In the previous praise of provisional wisdom there are two meanings in all: first, as explained above, for all Buddhas one gives rise to the provisional from the real, whereas now one gives rise to the real from the provisional. Second, following the sequence of the text, previously it briefly explained provisional wisdom by setting forth that it is difficult to understand and difficult to enter, and therefore now it broadly explains provisional wisdom, clarifying the meaning of its being difficult to understand and difficult to enter. Regarding "ever since I attained Buddhahood," this statement about attaining the Path has two meanings in all: first, manifesting birth in the royal palace and attaining the Path at Gayā, and setting forth upāya from that point onward. Second, relying on the subsequent sūtra text, it clarifies having attained Buddhahood long ago, and setting forth upāya from that point onward; this clarifies the period of employing provisional wisdom.
