The verse text has two parts: first, versifying praising the two wisdoms relying on speech; second, versifying adding praise to the two wisdoms by stopping speech. In the prose, praising the two wisdoms relying on speech has two parts: first, praising all buddhas; second, praising Śākyamuni. Now the verse alters the dynamic to versify this, opening into two distinctions: the first two verses versify praising the Buddha's two wisdoms; the next two verses explain the praise of the two wisdoms. The first two verses open into four pairs to be explained: First, the first verse praises the two wisdoms of all buddhas, and the next verse praises the two wisdoms of Śākyamuni. Second, the first verse praises the Buddha's virtues generally, and the next verse praises the Buddha's virtues specifically. Thus the verse says, “The Buddha's powers and fearlessnesses,” which explains the Buddha's real wisdom, “and the Buddha's other dharmas,” which refers to the Buddha's provisional wisdom, because provisional wisdom is solely for transforming others and is therefore called other dharmas. Third, the first verse praises the ultimate person, hence saying “The Hero of the World cannot be measured,” and the next verse praises the supreme virtue, referring to “The Buddha's powers and fearlessnesses.” Fourth, the first verse praises non-differentiated wisdom, meaning that internal and external are both obscured, and object and contemplation are both quiescent; the next verse praises differentiated wisdom, illuminating the realm and wisdom, such as the ten powers illuminating the ten realms, and so forth.
