「佛口所生子」下，第二、頌請決。亦開為二：初一行，明聲聞緣覺二眾別請。「時為如實說」者，昔說既其不實請，今如實為說。「諸天龍鬼神」下，第二、合明三眾樂聞請說也。「欲聞具足道」者，昔說二乘既為半字名不具足，今請說一乘滿字教門稱為具足。

From "Sons born from the Buddha's mouth" onward is the second: versifying the request for resolution. This also divides into two: the first line explains the separate request of the two assemblies of śrāvakas and pratyekabuddhas. As for "Pray expound in accordance with reality at this time": since what was expounded in the past was not real, he requests that now it be expounded in accordance with reality. From "The devas, nāgas, ghosts, and spirits" onward is the second: jointly explaining that the three assemblies delight in hearing and request that it be expounded. As for "Desiring to hear the complete path": since the two vehicles formerly expounded were half-letters and called incomplete, now he requests the expounding of the full-letter teaching of the ekayāna, which is called complete.
