「第一義」者，一實之道，理極莫過為第一，深有所以稱為義也。

"The supreme truth" (paramārtha): the path of the one reality, whose principle is ultimate and unsurpassable, is "supreme" (paramā); having a profound rationale, it is called "truth" (artha).
