Regarding "his house was broad and large": second, this explains the place of transformation. Above, in the countries, cities, and hamlets, places were adduced to praise the person, so that the elder was revered in all four places; here, the person is adduced to clarify the place, distinguishing that the elder has the ability to instruct within a single house. Furthermore, above, the four places generally distinguished the Buddha's transforming of beings in both pure and defiled lands; here, explaining that his house is broad and large specifically narrates the transformation in the defiled land with the faults and perils of the three realms. The vast expanse of the three realms is called "broad and large"; the dwelling place of the six destinies is called "house."
