「聞佛柔軟音」，此第三、頌長行結歡喜也。就文為三：初三句，歎佛；次三句，明歡喜；後一偈，明自慶。三句歎佛者，初兩句歎能宣之聲，後一句明所說之法。三句明歡喜者：初一句正明歡喜，次兩句舉得離以釋歡喜。後一偈明自慶者，初兩句明作佛謂生物之福，後兩句明說法生物之慧也。

“Hearing the Buddha's soft and gentle voice”: this is third, versifying the prose section's conclusion of rejoicing. In the text there are three parts: first, three lines praise the Buddha; next, three lines clarify rejoicing; last, one verse clarifies self-congratulation. The three lines praising the Buddha: the first two lines praise the voice that can proclaim; the last line clarifies the Dharma that is preached. The three lines clarifying rejoicing: the first line directly clarifies rejoicing; the next two lines cite attaining liberation to explain the rejoicing. The last verse clarifying self-congratulation: the first two lines clarify becoming a Buddha, meaning generating merit for living beings; the latter two lines clarify preaching the Dharma, generating wisdom for living beings.
