「以是因緣」下，此一偈是第二大段，頌上長行「以是因緣，當知諸佛方便力故，於一佛乘分別說三」。說事既竟，故頌前結詶請之言也。

From "For this reason" downward, this one verse is the second major section, versifying the prose above: "For this reason, you should know that through the power of expedients the Buddhas distinguish and preach three in the one Buddha-vehicle." Since the preaching of the matters is already finished, it therefore versifies the preceding words concluding the reply to the request.
