From "constantly dwelling in the hells" downwards is the second round, reiterating the three grades of sins. Because the remaining karma of slandering the Dharma while born among humans leads one to continue reviling the sūtra, one again falls into hell. There are also three grades: first, birth in hell. From "in the other evil destinies" downwards clarifies falling among animals. From "if they manage to be born as a human" downwards clarifies birth in the human destiny. As for "deeply attached to views of self": from above up to this point, the reception of the three grades of painful retributions has been clarified. This text distinguishes that because of contradicting the ultimate principle, various delusions increase, and one is endowed with the three obstacles. "Deeply attached to views of self" refers to folly. Next, anger is clarified; from "lust" downwards, greed is distinguished. From "The Buddha told Śāriputra" downwards is second: the general conclusion. Because the principle is endowed with myriad virtues, slandering the sūtra of the complete principle incurs all sufferings without exception; they cannot be fully recounted—how could these be empty words!
