三、出體門者，依《阿毘曇》，信解有二體，信是善大地中信數，解是通大地中慧數。依《成實論》，信之與解並以心為體，然心上有信解之用，故義說為二。今明若見有心與數異體及以一體，皆是一異執見，非信解體，後門當具釋之。

Third, regarding the section on revealing the essential nature: according to the Abhidharma, belief and understanding have two separate natures: belief is the mental factor of faith among the wholesome universal mental factors, and understanding is the mental factor of wisdom among the universal mental factors. According to the Tattvasiddhi Śāstra, both belief and understanding have the mind as their essential nature; however, upon the mind there are the functions of belief and understanding, and so they are conceptually explained as two. Now it is explained that if one sees the mind and the mental factors as having different essential natures or as having a single essential nature, these are all attached views of oneness and difference, not the essential nature of belief and understanding; the later section will fully explain this.
