不然。前之二教是方便教，故籍方便教悟入一乘，則以方便教為一乘方便也。後之二教並是大乘即是真實教，但籍真實教悟入一乘，故以真實教為入《法華》之方便也。

It is not so. The former two teachings are expedient teachings; thus, relying on expedient teachings one awakens and enters the ekayāna, which means making the expedient teachings an upāya for the ekayāna. The latter two teachings are both the Mahāyāna, which is the real teaching; one merely relies on the real teaching to awaken and enter the ekayāna, and hence makes the real teaching an upāya for entering the Lotus Sūtra.
