8.106

彼經明由大地故有四種重擔，由攝受正法故有四乘：合天人為一，開二乘為二，合大乘因果為一也。與《智度論》五種善其義不同，不須會也。

That sūtra explains that because of the great earth there are four kinds of heavy burdens, and because of embracing the true Dharma there are four vehicles: combining devas and humans into one, opening the two vehicles into two, and combining the cause and fruition of the Mahāyāna into one. This differs in meaning from the five kinds of goodness in the *Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa*, and they need not be reconciled.
