「大通智勝佛」下，第四、明佛稱歎。以其說法會理稱機，今欲令時眾信受，故佛印歎也。「汝等皆當數數親近」者，以與沙彌有緣故令親近，如十方佛勸常啼親近法涌。

From "the Buddha Mahābhijñājñānābhibhū" onwards is the fourth [passage], explaining the Buddha's praise. Because their preaching of the Dharma tallied with principle and accorded with capacity, and he now wished to cause the assembly at that time to faithfully accept it, the Buddha therefore confirmed and praised it. As for "You all should repeatedly associate closely [with them]": because they had karmic connections with the novice monks, he caused them to associate closely with them, just as the buddhas of the ten directions encouraged Sadāprarudita to associate closely with Dharmodgata.
