「佛告諸比丘」下，第二、明結緣已後世世相值。就文亦四：一、明所化得益；二、辨能化得益；第、三結會古今；第四、明未來相值也。初文三句：一、明沙彌常樂說《法華》。以《法華》明於佛乘，菩薩常求佛果，故常樂說。又《法華》結會始終，具攝一切教，若說《法華》則攝一切教。「一一菩薩」下，明現在所得益緣也。「世世所生」下，第三句、明後時得益也。

From "The Buddha addressed the monks" onwards is the second [section], explaining how they met one another life after life after having formed karmic connections. In terms of the text, there are also four [parts]: 1. explaining that those who were transformed obtained benefit; 2. distinguishing that those capable of transforming obtained benefit; 3. concluding and unifying past and present; 4. explaining their meeting one another in the future. The first passage has three clauses: 1. explaining that the novice monks always delighted in preaching the Lotus Sūtra. Because the Lotus Sūtra clarifies the Buddha-yāna, and bodhisattvas always seek the fruit of buddhahood, they therefore always delighted in preaching it. Moreover, the Lotus Sūtra concludes and unifies the beginning and end, fully gathering in all teachings; if one preaches the Lotus Sūtra, then one gathers in all teachings. From "Each bodhisattva" onwards explains the conditions of benefit obtained in the present. From "Born life after life" onwards is the third clause, explaining the benefit obtained at a later time.
