「佛前」者，第二、明塔現方。欲證佛說故現佛前，欲開佛二身故在佛前也。

"Before the Buddha" is the second, explaining the direction of the stūpa's manifestation. Desiring to verify the Buddha's preaching, it therefore manifested before the Buddha; desiring to open the Buddha's two bodies, it was therefore before the Buddha.
