「從地涌出」下，第五、明塔出處。昔以權覆實故權教如地，今廢權顯實如從地涌出。又昔執迹迷本，以迷執為地，此執將傾故如地裂塔現也。

From "emerging from the earth" downward is the fifth, explaining the place of the stūpa's emergence. Formerly, the expedient concealed the real, so the expedient teaching was like the earth; now, dismissing the expedient and revealing the real is like emerging from the earth. Furthermore, formerly they grasped at traces and were confused about the fundamental, taking confused grasping as the earth; as this grasping is about to collapse, it is like the earth cleaving open and the stūpa appearing.
