From "various precious objects" downward is the seventh, explaining the adornments of the stūpa, symbolizing that the dharmakāya is constituted of all virtues. "Five thousand railings" is a metaphor for the multitude of dhāraṇīs; "ten million niches and chambers" refers to the various Dharma gates delivering countless people. "Countless banners and canopies" refers to the six supernatural powers. "Hanging jewel necklaces" are the four means of embracing. "Myriads of koṭis of jewel bells" are the four unhindered eloquence and eight voices. "Fragrance emitting from the four sides" means that the fragrance of the precepts universally perfumes the four modes of birth. "All its banners and canopies were composed of seven treasures" explains that every single virtue is constituted of all virtues.
